Your Child’s Progress
Written records are maintained on each child’s progress through the Early Learning Goals and the National Curriculum. These are available to a parent/guardian on request. We ask that you provide a weeks notice so that we can ensure that they are up-to-date.
It is important that parents and teachers work closely together for the benefit of the children.
Parent/Teacher Consultation Meetings are held once a term when information about children’s progress is reported and discussed. Other appointments can be made to see the class teacher or headteacher by arrangement.
At the end of the Summer Term, a written report is sent to parents. This provides a summary of the child’s progress during the year and, for Year 2 children, the End of Key Stage results are provided. (Enclosed is a summary of the most recent National validated results – usually the previous year).
